Seager Memorial Clinic
The Seager Memorial Clinic is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing free medical, easy-access, non-judgmental, charitable medical, dental, vision, and mental health care to the underserved.
In 1988, Dr. Floyd Seager, a local physician, saw a man collapse on the street in Ogden and went to his aid. He learned that the man was homeless and didn’t have any access to medical care. Dr. Seager had to do something, so he and his wife, Dauna, founded the clinic in partnership with the Ogden Rescue Mission on September 16, 1988.
The Seagers have since passed away, but their legacy lives on, with over 170 volunteers involved in the Seager Memorial Clinic. Top professionals in the area provide volunteer medical, dental, vision, and mental health care, and the entire Board of Directors and all officers of the clinic are volunteer positions. We have two part-time paid employees.
We are fortunate to have developed strong partnerships with Intermountain Healthcare, Ogden Regional Medical Center, Ogden Rescue Mission, Weber Human Services, Weber-Morgan Health Department, and several other community organizations. We look forward to continuing to expand our services and connections to fulfill Dr. Seager’s vision of helping those in greatest need to easy-access, non-judgmental, compassionate medical care. To date the clinic has surpassed 80,000 patient visits, and we average 2,500 visits per year.
